The Center for Career Education & Professional Development (CEPD) Passport Program provides undergraduate business students with guidance in their career-building and networking skills. Students in the program will engage in a variety of professional development activities, including career development, networking, experiential learning, and leadership.

The program is broken into four years:
First Year – Career Introduction
Second Year – Career Exploration
Third Year – Career Preparation
Fourth Year – Career Readiness
Each year you will be able to attend specialized programs, events, and workshops that are designed to further your professional development.
The number and type of professional development activities will be based on the student’s standing in the program. Some of the programs and activities include Job Shadowing, Mentoring, resume refining, and networking events.

This program is open to all business students going into their freshman year and and transferring juniors.
– First Time Freshman (1st Years) are identified as starting their first year at CSUN directly from high school.
– First Time Transfers (3rd Years) are identified as transferring from a community college and enrolling in BUS 302 in Fall or Spring.
Due to the design of the program, Seniors are not eligible to participate if they have not already completed the sophomore and/or junior stages of the program.The Passport Program can only be joined in the Fall semester.
Applications must be submitted by the beginning of the Fall semester.
