  • The Passport Program provides undergraduate business students with guidance in their career-building and networking skills. Students in the program will engage in a variety of professional development activities, including career development, networking, experiential learning, and leadership.

    4-Year Passport Program

    Mission:
    The Passport Program empowers undergraduate business students with comprehensive career-building, networking, experiential learning, and leadership opportunities, fostering the development of future leaders in the global business community.

    Vision:
    Our vision is to create a transformative educational ecosystem where every student in the Passport Program thrives as a confident and innovative leader, equipped with the skills and global perspective to make a significant impact in the ever-evolving business landscape.

  • The program is broken into four Tiers for Incoming Freshman:

    Tier 1 – Career Introduction

    Tier 2 – Career Exploration

    Tier 3– Career Preparation

    Tier 4 – Career Readiness

    The program is broken into two Tiers for Incoming Transfers:

    Tier 1 – Exploration & Preparation

    Tier 2 – Career Readiness

    Each year you will be able to attend specialized programs, events, and workshops that are designed to further your professional development.

    The number and type of professional development activities will be based on the student’s standing in the program. Some of the programs and activities include Job Shadowing, Mentoring, resume refining, and networking event.

  • This program is open to all business students going into their freshman year and transferring juniors.
    First Time Freshman (1st Years) are identified as starting their first year at CSUN directly from high school.
    First Time Transfers (3rd Years) are identified as transferring from a community college and enrolling in BUS 302 in Fall or Spring. Due to the design of the program, Seniors are not eligible to participate if they have not already completed the sophomore and/or junior stages of the program.
    The Passport Program can only be joined before the start of Fall semester.
    Applications must be submitted before the Fall semester begins.
