  • The Passport Program provides undergraduate business students with guidance in their career-building and networking skills. Students in the program will engage in a variety of professional development activities, including career development, networking, experiential learning, and leadership.

    Mission:
    The Passport Program empowers undergraduate business students with comprehensive career-building, networking, experiential learning, and leadership opportunities, fostering the development of future leaders in the global business community.

    Vision:
    Our vision is to create a transformative educational ecosystem where every student in the Passport Program thrives as a confident and innovative leader, equipped with the skills and global perspective to make a significant impact in the ever-evolving business landscape.

  • There are two programs: 4-Year Program and 2-Year Accelerated Program.

    The 4-Year Program is for Incoming Freshman:

    Year 1 – Career Introduction

    Year 2 – Career Exploration

    Year 3– Career Preparation

    Year 4 – Career Readiness

    The 2-Year Accelerated Program is for Incoming Transfers:

    Year 1 – Exploration & Preparation

    Year 2 – Career Readiness

    Each year you will be able to attend specialized programs, events, and workshops that are designed to further your professional development.

    The number and type of professional development activities will be based on the student’s standing in the program. Some of the programs and activities include Job Shadowing, Mentoring, resume refining, and networking event.

  • This program is open to all business students going into their freshman year (First Time Freshman) or transferring in from a community college (First Time Transfer).
    First Time Freshmen are identified as starting their first year at CSUN directly from high school.
    First Time Transfers are identified as transferring from a community college.Due to the design of the program, students are not able to join after their first Fall semester at CSUN.

    The Passport Program can only be joined before the Fall semester.

  • Applications for the 24-25 academic year is now closed!
    The application was open May 27 – July 31.
    The 25/26 year application will reopen in May 2025. Exact date TBD.
