JOB SUMMARY
As a Pricing Validator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of pricing information on customer orders and invoices. This role involves scrutinizing pricing data, conducting audits, and collaborating with the sales and accounting teams to validate customer pricing. The Pricing Validator plays a crucial role in maintaining integrity in pricing processes and ensuring that the company’s pricing controls align with internal expectations and customer documentation. The Pricing Validator ensures the control of pricing on customer orders and invoices, promotes compliance, and contributes to the overall accuracy of customer pricing within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pricing Data Validation:
- Scrutinize pricing data for accuracy and consistency across customer sales orders and invoices.
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and address any pricing errors promptly.
- Ensure sales order and invoice prices adhere to documentation of customer pricing.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with sales, finance, and other relevant teams to validate customer pricing and adjustments.
- Communicate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to pricing information.
Documentation, Reporting and Communication:
- Maintain detailed records of pricing validations, audits, and corrections made.
- Develop and update documentation related to pricing validation processes and procedures.
- Review reports on pricing accuracy, discrepancies, and compliance status for management review.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on validation findings to management.
- Provide guidance to teams involved in pricing processes to improve overall accuracy and compliance.
- Identify areas for process improvement in pricing validation and contribute to the development of more efficient validation processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data analysis tools and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with pricing software and systems.
- Previous experience in pricing coordination or validation is a plus.
