Provide administrative support to a contracts office in an administrative environment.
- Maintain contract records in contracts office as well as secure areas.
- Maintain current contracts tools/information in secure areas for reference.
- Serve as point of contact with all sponsor contracts offices for negotiations; awards and modifications; and pre-award DCAA and DCMA audits.
- Facilitate award of agreements in secure areas.
- Assist with the resolution of administrative issues (property, invoices, etc.)
- Assist in development and maintenance of contracts office training materials.
- Provide back up to other contracts staff as needed and other related functions as assigned.
HS/GED and five years administrative support experience. Proficient in MS Office, specifically high proficiency in MS Excel managing detailed information in complex spreadsheets, Outlook managing template correspondence, and in MS Word drafting letters/working with forms. Excellent spelling/typing. Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Pro. Proficiency in compiling, examining, organizing, reporting data in an accurate manner, data entry, and word processing. High level of professionalism/customer service. Excellent documentation/file maintenance. Excellent organizational skills in managing assigned tasks. Demonstrated ability to interface professionally and tactfully with a diverse group of people under stressful/time sensitive conditions, to multi-task in a detailed manner while working in a fast-paced/team-oriented environment; to work independently/as a team member/accept supervision. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
U.S. Citizen. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position
Bachelor’s degree. Eligibility for immediate access to classified information. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel. Proficiency and professionalism in business writing. Experience with federal acquisitions and contracting. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS. Experience with federally funded research contracts.
An agency designated by the federal government handles the investigation as to the requirement for eligibility for access to classified information.
