WHAT TO EXPECT:
Tax Associates at Armanino will gain exposure to a multitude of clients in a variety of industries including Technology, Nonprofit, Healthcare, Financial Services, as well as many others. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
- Review and analyze client data and prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust and Individual tax returns on behalf of clients
- Research and analyze changes in tax regulation and develop tax planning skills
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support client engagements
- Work with a team of professionals on client projects (staff, senior, manager and partner)
- Create appropriate journal entries and prepare clean and accurate workpapers
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Develop an understanding of and capability in accounting, financial and database software
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required for intern and entry-level positions.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting or taxation
- Final graduation date/CPA eligibility date (whichever comes later) between December 2022 and June 2023 strongly preferred
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Well-rounded knowledge accounting principles
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point)
