Cignus Consulting, LLC — Leesburg, VA (Remote or Onsite)
Cignus Consulting is an SBA 8(a)-certified aviation technology and consulting firm serving federal and commercial clients including the FAA, NASA, DoD, TSA, and major airport authorities. We’re looking for a motivated summer intern to support our business development and operations team.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with administrative paperwork, including DBE certification filings across multiple states
- Search for and track RFPs, RFIs, and contract opportunities
- Conduct opportunity analysis to assess fit and win probability
- Support proposal preparation and document assembly
- Help with other business operations tasks as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Late-stage undergraduate or graduate students
- An aviation background or coursework is preferred
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Self-sufficient and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid setting
Eligibility:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. person status required given the nature of our federal clients)
Logistics:
- Summer 2026, up to 40 hours per week
- Remote, or onsite at our Leesburg, VA office
