Position Summary:

This position will assist in coordinating loan documents for closing real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. The RE Loan Processor Lead will help resolving loan documentation issues with lending team, collaborate on problem solving and process improvement efforts to maintain and continuously improve loan operations policy, procedure, and performance.

The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set.

Essential Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Essential Function and Skill satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Working all real estate loans from application completion to funding.

2. Have a full understanding of mortgage documents, such as: Appraisal, Title Reports, Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, Income and Tax documentation, Insurance products, such as Homeowners’ Insurance, PMI and Flood Insurance.

3. Administer everyday work and evaluate all incoming mail, emails, faxes and process payments.

4. Communicate with vendors regarding the loan process and documentation.

5. Be proficient with Loan Operating Systems, the Bank’s Core Operating System, Excel and Word.

6. Assist loan officers with Real Estate loans.

7. Maintain and organize loan documentation files.

8. Participate in Various Committee meetings.

9. Good communication skills, by phone, oral and written, with other employees, customers and vendors.

10. Ability to break down complex problems and arrive at the right solution.

11. Ability to evaluate processes and duties to find the best options for efficiency and effectiveness.

12. Process all residential loan applications and prepare all real estate loan documents.

13. Assist in the MPF secondary market loan processing.

14. This position requires physical presence in the bank.

15. All employees are expected to exemplify and follow our core values.

16. Regular attendance and punctuality when reporting to work.

17. Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.

18. This position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee’s personal mobile device. THE MFA apps are used to authenticate a user’s identity to the system for security purposes.

19. Adhere to and comply with all applicable federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adhering to the Bank’s policies and procedures.

20. Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Education and Experience:

Required – High School diploma or GED., etc.

Required – Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge.

Required – Three to five years of mortgage banking experience.

Preferred – Three to five years of customer service experience.

Preferred – Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
