Job Summary
Join our team and work closely with faculty and staff to bring our mainstage productions and public-facing events to life. Your efforts will help showcase the talent and creativity of our department, engaging the community, and enhancing our public presence.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Theatre & Dance faculty to generate posters and advertising for mainstage productions, upcoming events, and opportunities in the department.
• Design posters and other PR media as needed.
• Utilize Cascade CMS to update CC’s Theatre and Dance Dept. website to display mainstage performance season, guest artist events, and alumni activities.
• Promote performances, auditions, and other opportunities using the website, social media, and printed posters.
• Communicate regularly with Theatre & Dance faculty and staff about department goals and messaging.
• Help manage EventBrite platform for ticketed productions.
• Initiate and maintain outreach to student social networks and relevant student groups.
• Publicize the department’s public events to communities beyond CC.
Minimum Qualifications
• Fluency with Facebook, and Instagram and CC’s web-based website management program, Cascade CMS
• Experience with graphic design software, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva
• Strong design and writing skills
• Understanding of CC’s commitment to antiracism
• Significant experience with student social networking at CC
• Significant experience with diverse student groups at CC
• Strongest candidates will have interest in the arts, design, marketing, or arts management
Other Position Details:
• Does not supervise others
• Position will not drive CC vehicles

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
• $26.00 per hour
