Core Duties for Accountant II:
- Financial Management: Maintain records, classify transactions, and prepare statements.
- Compliance and Auditing: Interpret regulations, perform audits, and reconcile accounts.
- Analysis and Reporting: Conduct cost/revenue analyses and prepare financial reports.
- System Oversight: Install and improve accounting systems and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate with staff and departments.
Needed to Qualify:
- 21 semester or 32 quarter units of accounting in an accredited college or university including at least two courses in advanced accounting subjects such as auditing, cost accounting, or governmental accounting.
- A valid California Class “C” Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
