Join our growing online western wear retailer and help shape our product offerings. Working directly with our Director of E-Commerce, you’ll assist in building and maintaining our collection of western apparel, boots, accessories, and gear.
Position Overview: As our Entry Level Merchandiser, you’ll collaborate with the Director of E-Commerce to develop and execute our merchandising strategy. You’ll help analyze sales data, manage product listings, and implement merchandising approaches that appeal to both traditional western wear customers and newcomers to the category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of E-Commerce in selecting and maintaining product assortments across categories including boots, hats, apparel, and accessories
- Track inventory levels and flag replenishment needs
- Research competitor offerings and pricing to inform merchandising decisions
- Write and update product descriptions and specifications in our e-commerce platform
- Assist in implementing promotional strategies
- Maintain product categorization and attribution standards
- Generate sales reports and analyze data to support buying decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Understanding of retail math concepts
- Interest in western wear and western lifestyle products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take direction and implement feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail or e-commerce experience
- Familiarity with western wear brands and products a plus
- Experience with e-commerce platforms
- Understanding of seasonal buying cycles
