Health Advocates is seeking an HR Coordinator/Jr Recruiter for our main office in Chatsworth, CA.
Under general supervision performs assignments in support of HR operations including posting jobs, screening job candidates, scheduling interviews, running background checks, and conducting new hire orientation/on boarding process. Additional duties includes preparing standard and ad hoc computer reports utilizing HRIS and software applications, assisting with Company events and special projects, maintaining various departmental reports and logs, and performing additional duties, as needed.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent OR any combination of experience, education, or training to perform the essential duties of the position.
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking systems (ADP, CareerBuilder, etc.) preferred
- Strong experience in Microsoft office suites (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and abilities
- Ability to understand and manage complex databases
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize multiple projects
- Must be able to type 30 wpm
Pay Rate: Depends on Experience

Schedule: Alternative Work Week Schedule – Mon-Thurs 7:30 am- 5 pm & Fri 7:30 am – 12:30 pm
Other: We conduct assessment testing and post offer background checks
