Seat Sherpa is a new California carpool marketplace — drivers post road trips they’re already making, riders book the empty seats. We’re live in the App Store, Google Play, and inside Apple Maps, right next to Uber and Lyft, often at a tenth of the price.
We’re looking for Campus Ambassadors to get students booking seats — and students with cars filling theirs — at your school. You’ll work directly with the founder.
Expected Outputs
As a Seat Sherpa Campus Ambassador, you will:
- Put up posters and hand out rack cards on campus (all materials shipped to you, with your campus’s exclusive discount code).
- Table at club fairs, orientation events, and high-traffic spots.
- Share your campus code in student groups you’re already part of — clubs, Greek life, commuter and international student communities.
- Recruit at least 3 student drivers per month: anyone already driving home or between cities with empty seats who wants to split the gas.
- Join a 20-minute monthly check-in with the founder — what students ask, what’s confusing, what would make them book.

- One semester (~3 months), 3–5 hrs/week, on your own schedule
- Any California campus; no car required
- You get a personal QR + signup code — everything you produce is tracked automatically, no timesheets
Pay
Performance-based and uncapped, verified through your personal code: $1 per verified signup · $2 when your rider takes their first trip · $5 when a driver you recruited gets their ride booked. Example month: 50 signups + 20 first trips + 10 booked drivers = $140, plus a monthly bonus for the top campus and Seat Sherpa swag. Founder reference letter with your real numbers at the end of the semester. You also get free ride credits!
