The Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of North Texas is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Assistant to support the department’s marketing and communication efforts. This position plays a key role in enhancing the department’s brand, visibility, and engagement with students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners through the creation of marketing materials and the management of social media accounts.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media platforms and content creation
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools)
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Design and develop marketing materials, including digital graphics, flyers, event promotions, presentations, and email content
Manage and maintain the department’s social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook), including creating and scheduling posts
Write engaging and professional content tailored to students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners
Assist in promoting departmental events such as networking events, guest speakers, scholarship breakfasts, and student organization activities
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student organizations to ensure consistent messaging and branding
Monitor social media engagement and provide basic analytics or insights to help improve outreach efforts
Ensure all marketing content aligns with University of North Texas branding guidelines
