Weaver’s Tax Investment Funds practice is looking for a Tax Associate I to join their growing team. The Associate will prepare various types of investment partnership tax returns and provide tax-related services for clients. This individual will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide financial services knowledge and experience, while building and managing client relationships.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; or Bachelor’s degree, J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master’s in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
- CPA candidate required
- 0 to 1+ years of investment partnership tax experience
- Will work to build knowledge of alternative investment vehicles and structures, including hedge funds, private equity funds and mutual funds
- Basic understanding of the tax implications associated with financial products
