About the Interpreter Coordinator role:
Under the direction of the Manager of Sign or Foreign Language Services, the Interpreter Coordinator performs a variety of duties, both administrative and clerical in nature. This fully remote position requires planning, organization, attention to detail, and distributing incoming assignments received daily via Interpreter Intelligence to appropriate interpreter personnel while providing excellent customer service via telephone and email to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Enter interpretation requests placed over the phone or via email
- Assign an interpreter to all open In-Person and Video jobs
- In-Person assignments: map distance between locations to ensure adequate travel time is provided to interpreter between assignments
- Video assignments: give to Accurate Communication staff first, then use the preferred interpreters
- Keep workers updated on the status of their request, and if necessary, offer alternate times to ensure jobs are covered and interpreter use is maximized
- Stay up to date with incoming and dispatch emails, and text messages, and respond accordingly and as needed
- Provide assistance to workers and interpreters having issues connecting to VRI sessions whenneeded
- Ensure assignments are closed daily
- Use sound judgment in assignments to prevent overuse syndrome in interpreters
- Communicate with leadership on any critical matters regarding clients and interpreting assignments to ensure sustainable and effective service provision
- Maintains strict consumer confidentiality and the utmost professional standards
- Be accountable for 100% quality control
- Assist with other duties as assigned and additional duties as required.
Candidate requirements:
- 2-4 years’ experience coordinating interpreters or large staff or related field experience
- Bilingual
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and follow-through skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable of interpreter code of ethics preferred
- Possess strong computer/technical skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- Can pass criminal background check and drug test
- Documentation of legal eligibility to work in the USA

About the Recruiter role:
This is a full-time position. The primary responsibility of the Recruiter is to provide results-oriented sourcing strategies that procure the best available interpreters/translators that meet our clients’ specific requirements and demands.
Responsibilities:
- Perform recruiting and sourcing of candidates (Staff & Freelance)
- Exercise a wide degree of creativity in sourcing and recruiting, technical understanding, and personal organization
- Source and review resume and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Screen candidates, conduct phone or video screen interviews as well as extend offers of employment to selected candidates
- Process agreements for freelance
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members to create a partnership to attain success, predictable results, and credibility
- Prepare candidates for interviews and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, projects, and company culture
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and searches
- The ability to track and report metrics regarding recruiting activity
- Participate in networking events to boost the company’s reputation and network with technology professionals
- Maintains strict consumer confidentiality and the utmost professional standards
- Perform other related duties assigned
Candidate requirements:
- 2 – 4 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting candidates in a staffing agency or fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated knowledge in a full life cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, relationship management, and candidate due diligence
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
- Experience with tools such as LinkedIn, Dice, and other industry tools
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and a strong sense of urgency
- Can pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Documentation of legal eligibility to work in the USA
