B2B Wholesale Account Executive
Aosom LLC is a fast-paced, growing commerce company involved in numerous categories. We are looking for an outgoing National Wholesale, Account executive responsible for driving the strategic direction and performance of the wholesale B2B department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an entirely new channel for Aosom LLC. and play a vital role in the company’s future growth. This role requires an individual with a strong knowledge of wholesale, B2B landscape, eCommerce, and experience in working with high-performing teams.
The ideal candidate must be very driven, analytical, skilled in computer operations, and financial knowledge. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales goals and growth. Most importantly, the candidate must have a passion for selling.
Responsibilities
You will be representing Aosom’s brands of outdoor, home, and office goods, pet supplies, and more! This role will primarily be responsible for developing and fostering relationships with new wholesale partners and identifying strategic opportunities to drive revenue.
The primary responsibility is to meet budgeted sales goals by expanding our client base. The job primarily entails visits to clients, telephone and video meetings. We have a vast product line, so customers will need to be sold on the products, many of which they will not have seen in person.
Qualifications
Candidate must have extensive national sales experience. The position is based in Southern California and requires both driving and air travel. Given the national client base, this position will involve some weekend and evening work.
What You’ll Do
- Work collaboratively to develop a cohesive strategy and action plan to drive wholesale channel growth
- Identify opportunities for wholesale expansion
- Demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including merchandising, product development, marketing, supply chain, and finance
- Analyze weekly sales to determine performance against plan and identify opportunities to maximize revenue
- Work closely with the planning and merchandising teams to maintain up-to-date shipment forecasts
- Build and execute a long-term strategy to drive profitable and sustainable growth
- Propose and execute opportunities for collaborations or exclusive products for key retailers
- Act as a merchandising and product consultant to ensure customers are set up for success with the right products for their business and related content and training
- Own all market meetings and presentations with retailers
- Working closely with operations and finance, set up customer accounts, payment terms, and logistic requirements
- Build a seasonal hindsight deck highlighting quarterly wins, challenges & opportunities
- Lead and manage store visits and provide comprehensive feedback and actions to maximize sales
- Effectively communicate product opportunities to the product/merchandising team based on trends, retail insights, and selling reports
What You Have
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and/or wholesale merchandising
- Experience working with a variety of accounts, large, medium, and small, and experience developing new accounts across multiple product categories
- Experience selling to big box and specialty retail accounts, both online and bricks and mortar
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to create impactful presentation decks on a monthly basis
- Proven ability to scale business through wholesale and other distribution channels
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization is a must
- Strong project management skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment

- Strong leadership skills and a strong sense of teamwork
- Strong industry knowledge, including retail and wholesale aspects of the business
- Experience with international markets a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
