Job Description:
- Prepare, create and place purchase orders using the company’s ERP system
- Manage purchase orders in QuickBooks
- Follow up and track the status of an order, shipment, and calculate relevant costs. (Carefully reviewing documents for accuracy)
- Work with carriers and freight forwarders for incoming international shipments.
- Work with a custom brokerage for custom clearance.
- File claims with the vendors for the defective materials (as needed).
- Conduct purchase order research and generates reports for management (i.e, purchase order and shipment data)
- Establish and maintain a record-keeping system for purchasing department.
- Ensure for timely arrival and information provided by suppliers is accurate (i.e. make sure it meets the standards of our company for accurate recordkeeping).
- Collect and Analyze Data for purposes of Purchase Planning/Control
- Reconciliation of accounts payables
