Department Description:
The Performance Engagement Summer Intern will be responsible for the entire portfolio and all selling teams in ViiV, reporting into the Field Strategy and Operations Head and working in close partnership with the Sales Leadership Team. The main goal of this role is twofold: to ensure performance engagement run smoothly and streamlining existing manual processes. This is a critical role that connects the field incentive compensation, performance and engagement with the company objectives including the right cross functional partnership to support the field when appropriate.
Job Description:
The Performance Engagement Intern will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing manual processes used to support the field. The internship will allow you to develop and apply your skills in data management, QC, analytics, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. Additionally, the Performance Engagement Intern will work with the Performance Engagement Leads to assist with weekly and quarterly incentive compensation deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer or Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or similar disciplines.
- Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the assignment.
- Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communications skills – this position will communicate across several business areas and levels, and must be comfortable with reducing complexity of technical answers to straight-forward language
- Analytical abilities – Strong Excel skills and familiarity with utilizing tools (PowerBI) and/or languages (Python/SQL) to quickly parse large datasets to identify insights, issues, or trends
- Focus on problem solving – this position will face a variety of challenges that will require unique solutions

Candidates who are hired for an on-site role or hybrid role, and reside outside of 50-miles from their assigned work location, are eligible for relocation stipend.
