Ask A Matador will connect you with CSUN alumni experts who can help you with advice and introductions.
Matadors love helping students and fellow alumni. You ask. They answer.

Here’s how it works:

You ask for help: Check out some tips on how to ask a question. 

  1. Start strong – Your subject line needs to be short & clear
  2. Introduce yourself – Before you “ask”, let the alumni know who you are.
  3. Explain what you need and why – Let them know what you need help with and how they can make a difference.
  4. Close nicely – Wrap-Up your question with a strong ending.
  5. Be ready to engage – This is almost as important as the question itself.

You get a response: Alumni will share advice with you via email, a phone call or a meeting – usually within a week.
